MARIA JOSÉ HOMEM

Maria José  Homem is the Camões Fellow at the IGRS, where her main role is to promote Lusophone-related cultural activities. Her current interests lie in linguistics, second-language acquisition, didactics, lexicology and lexicography, classical literature,  women’s studies (in classical times, mainly in Greece and Rome) and literature of the Lusophone world. Until recently she worked as a researcher in the Department of Classical Studies in the University of Lisbon developing the structure of an electronical Greek-Portuguese dictionary.
