SECTION A
As a contributor to the Contemporary Women's Writing in
French (CWWF) website, I understand
· That copyright subsists in all extracts
and images appearing on the CWWF website and the works from which they have been
taken.
· That if original authors or copyright holders produce abstracts of
texts they retain copyright of these new texts.
· That if new abstracts of
existing texts and new descriptions of current research are produced by the site
webmistress or master, these constitute new pieces of work and in such cases
copyright also subsists in the new work.
· That except as provided for by a
CLA licence or copyright law, no further copying, storage or distribution of any
extracts, texts or images published on the CWWF website is permitted without the
consent of the copyright holders.
· That ideas as expressed in texts as
published on the CWWF website remain the intellectual property of their authors.
· That submitted texts may be edited.
· That submission does not
guarantee publication.
· That although warnings against breach of copyright
will be published on each page of the CWWF website, the University of London
accepts no liability for pursuing any specific breaches, and that this remains
the responsibility of individual copyright holders.
· That any data on
individuals stored and published on the CWWF website and stored in associated
files will be handled in accordance with the 1998 Data Protection Act.
SECTION B
As a contributor to the Contemporary Women's Writing in French
(CWWF) website
I agree
· To descriptions of my current research and
details of published works being stored and published electronically on pages
that constitute the CWWF website.
· To my name being stored and published on
the CWWF website as the originator of research and published texts.
· To my
institutional or professional email address being published on the CWWF website.
· In the case of co-authored works to supply the names of all co-authors and
copyright holders so that ‘fair dealing’ can be observed in that all copyright
holders can be acknowledged.
· In cases where I am the original author of the
work but not the sole copyright holder (for example in the case of texts
submitted to journals where some aspects of copyright are transferred to the
publishers), to gain the consent of all copyright holders before offering
copyrighted data for electronic storage and publication on the CWWF website.
· To submit texts free of defamatory or other illegal materials.
