Welcome to the IGRS Graduate Forum! This forum is run by and for graduate students from any of the University of London Colleges or Institutes, working on any cultural aspect of those parts of the world where French, German, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish are spoken. Graduate students from departments other than Modern Languages (e.g. History of Art, Film and Media, History, Anthropology) are also very welcome to join the group to develop interdisciplinary links.
We meet once a month during term-time, currently on a Thursday between 6 and 7.30 pm, to share and discuss our work in an informal setting, without the presence of academic staff. As well as stimulating intellectual debate, the Forum is a great social occasion, giving students from different departments across greater London a rare opportunity to meet and be inspired by each other’s work.
