The Hub Institutions

Under the AHRC Research Training Network scheme, four regional centres have been delegated to coordinate modern language research training events in their area. These are: The IGRS for Research Training Provision in London, the South East, and Northern Ireland Birmingham for Research Training Provision in the East and West Midlands, Eastern England, and Wales Leeds for Research Training Provision in Yorkshire and Humber, North East, and North West England Glasgow for Research Training Provision in Scotland Partner Institutions In addition, the institutions listed below are members of the Research Training Network. Membership allows students from these institutions to attend activities at the above hubs free of charge and makes them eligible for bursaries to cover travel expenses (above £10, to a maximum of £20 per event).
